After disappointing goalless derby clash against Wisła, Cracovia won three consecutive games (scoring 10 goals and conceding one!) and finished the league at fantastic fourth position. This is the best league position since 1952, while last time when Pasy were higher in the table than Wisła was in 1948! Adding to that the Cup of Poland semi-final we can say that this was a very good season for Cracovia, although Pasy did not make it to European Cups.

After the derby game Pasy went to Szczecin to face Pogoń – the weakest team of the league. Surprisingly, Pogoń was clearly better in the first half, but Cabaj performed superbly and saved many shots. Cracovia, on the reverse, did not have any situation. In the second half Pasy improved their defensive play and created two chances, which was enough to win the game. In 52^nd minute the ball after Skrzyński’s free kick sailed to the byline, where it was headed back to Szwajdych, who tried a volley-shot. The ball however was headed by Moskała and surprised Pogoń’s defense. Some 20 minutes later Bojarski played a long ball into the area, where Moskała played it to Nowak, who scored with a precise shot from 16 meters. Pogoń was unable to change the result, so Pasy won this game despite poor performance in the first half.

Three days later Górnik Łęczna came to Kałuży, this time the stadium was closed for spectators for violence and fighting on the stands during the game vs. Wisła. Without fans’ support Cracovia performed very well and crushed Górnik 5:0. It took only two minutes to score the opener, as Kłus played superb through ball to Bojarski who passed it from the right to Moskała who scored with ease. Some minutes later Kłus’ volley-drive was cleared from the line by Łęczna’s defender. The second goal was similar to the first one: Baran played the ball to the right to Bojarski, who played it to the centre, where Nowak scored. Two minutes into the second half Bojarski ran into the area from the right, played it to the left where Nowak found Moskała, who doubled his tally. In 75^th minute Kłus scored with a header after Giza’s corner. Two minutes later Moskała completed his hat-trick with a fine shot into top-right corner after Bania’s good through ball. In the last minute of the game Nowak ran into the area and passed the ball to Dudzic, whose shot hit the bar. This was a fine victory, although a bit sad, as no fans could see that from the stands.

The last game of the season was to be played in Łódź against Widzew. Pasy knew, that winning that game would secure 4^th place but the game started well for Widzew, as in 18^th minute Oshadogan beat the offside trap and scored with a header. Some minutes later Kłus’ header hit the bar, and we had to wait until 44^th minute to see the equalizer, when Bojarski threw the ball from the right and Wiśniewski scored with the header. In 51^st minute Pasy put their nose in front as Bania passed the ball to Nowak who scored with a slightly deflected shot. In 63^rd minute the game was practically over as Pasy scored the third goal after Bojarski’s center and Stawarczyk’s own goal. This was a confident win for the end of a successful season.
